Starting the year off...

Shad-can take a few steps by himself! He's really good at just letting go and standing; before long he'll be really cruising! He's *still* working on teeth...he is, hands down, my hardest teether. With the girls I'd barely know if they were getting any. With him, week after week he works on a new tooth. He loves to give kisses, the good, wet, slobbery kind :) I love them! And he much prefers the food we eat over that baby food mush stuff, though there isn't anything he won't eat so far (aside from the baby food, peas flavor-makes him gag!).

Olivia-is already excited for her birthday. She's always asking me when it is. She gets that it's on June 2nd but can't quite wrap her head around it being a few months away still. She's getting a bit more mouthy (can that be possible?!). The other day I asked her to carry something in from the car. She looked at me and said, "You have 2 hands!" A week later it's funny, when it happened...not so much. She gets a kick out of finally going to Primary with Eli.

Eli-is busy with school and friends. She's also getting excited for her birthday, making plans on the cake already-can you tell my kids like parties?! She is growing up-not long ago, when she would get upset over something I could fairly easily talk her back down. Any more she's figured out she can argue her side (and quite well, I might add) and things are getting a bit more dramatic. Oh goody :) But she's still so good most of the time. I'm lucky to have such a good little helper.

Sandy & I- have been juicing (Sandy more than me). We've had a juicer for a few years, got it out one day and it blew up, plastic pieces everywhere. So we found a new one. It was in researching new juicers I found this documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead".  So we Netflixed it...it was really interesting! So we're juicing more.
Sandy's working nights, which really means he's on nights and days, weekdays and weekends, almost 24/7, save for a few hours of naps here and there. NOT FUN.
I'm still buzzing along with it all...kids, home, primary, school...*Vacation countdown...2 1/2 months. YAY!!*
