Memorial

For Memorial weekend Eliana and Olivia got a fun treat; they got to spend the whole weekend at Grandpa and Grandma Moser's house-without Mom and Dad! It sounds like they had an entire weekend of nothing but fun, and lots of pancakes.
Often times I find myself thinking, "When I have some time to myself I'll..." and if I'd write that stuff down when I thought it, it would probably make quite the list. Yet, when I actually have a little time without my kiddos, I'm lost. And this particular weekend Sandy was working nights, which really means he's working 24/7 save a few naps and meals here and there. BOOO! Needless to say, it was a very quiet weekend here at the Lilya house. I even had to go to my first day in primary, in this ward, without my Eli (I was just called as Primary Secretary). When Sandy and I would talk we'd both start talking about the girls and their silly little quirks. It was a good thing I still had Shadrik to keep me company, and a little busy!
Grandpa and Grandma took Eli and Livi to a place where they got to witness some hummingbird migration and tagging. From what they say, it's sort of off the beaten path, so to speak. So much so they were in the mountains in mud and snow! The girls both got to hold a hummingbird though; lucky! I'm planning on going next year (didn't think Shad would appreciate it much this year). Grandpa even took Livi for a wild ride, unintentionally slipping and sliding, and then falling, in the mud, hehehe! Grandpa looked like "a hog in the mud" according to the girls, while Livi escaped with hardly any signs of a fall.
We're glad the girls got to spend some time with grandparents and have some fun away from home and even more glad they're back home! Here's 3 pics my mom snapped of the girls with the hummingbird-
