Curls

My girls, and even my little boy for that matter, are sort of like little dolls for me to play dress up with. I love doing their hair and dressing them up! So I'm always on the lookout for new ideas/products etc. When my friend showed me the new curlers she got for her girls, then later when I saw her girl's hair, I knew I had to get some! CURLFORMERS-they are SO AWESOME!!

 

These things are so easy to put in, especially compared to the sponge curlers we use so much. Both girls said sleeping in them hardly bothered them at all. And, with the curlers in, they loved how they made them look like Lalaloopsy's!  The end result...SO much better and more consistent than the good old spongies.

Other happenings: Livi finished her first year in preschool. She's quite disappointed though, and doesn't really want a break. The redemption is it's just a break and she gets to go back in a few months.

Eli has one more week left and she, too, isn't all that excited about summer vacation. I'm glad both girls have had such a positive experience with school and will miss it so much!

Sandy-work, work, drill, work, teaching on Sunday, Wednesday night scouts, weekend camping with scouts, missionary splits, farm stuff...just busy in general.

And I got the pleasure of being sick this week...worst sore throat EVER!! And a migrain. Yeah, good week. My friend was telling me she felt bad for my kids cuz she knows how she gets when she's sick-she gets grumpy. That's when I had sort of an "Ah-ha" moment. I think I do okay when sick as far as the grumps are concerned; it's not til AFTER I'm sick that I get the case of the grumpys. That's when I have to play catch up with everything that didn't get done while I was wiped out-everything just kind of piles up and waits. I will say this time around, with only a couple of gentle reminders, the girls did very well at keeping things mostly cleaned up. With that said, I guess I better finish my procrastinating and go catch up some more.
