Sandy had drill this last weekend so we all loaded up and headed to Utah for a fun time at Tio Ty's and Aunt Laurie's and to celebrate Olivia's 4th birthday Saturday. That, in and of itself, probably made Olivia's birthday the best ever; she's quite a fan of her Aunt Laurie :)
I took the kids to Barnes and Noble to treat each of them to a new book since school is now done for the summer and they both did so well in school. Livi chose a princess book (big surprise, *note sarcasm :)*) and Eli picked a Junie B. Jones book (which she read in only a couple of hours!).
After that Livi wanted Arby's for lunch then we went back to the house to get ready for her party. Grandpa Moser brought Great Grandma with him and when Sandy and Ty were done with drill we had pizza, per Livi's orders, and a Coldstone Oreo cake, also per the b-day girls request. Presents were mixed in all throughout and I know the only thing that could have made her day any better was having Grandma and Grandpa Lilya there, and Grandma Moser and the Johnson's (but being in Washington with a new baby is a pretty darn good excuse to miss it.). Thank goodness for phone calls! She also got some fun messages from friends here at home. Thanks to all for helping make her day so extra special and fun!
