Two weekends ago our ward had their Primary Program. We were treated with a visit from Tio Ty and Aunt Laurie (and of course, Pierre and Audi) as well as Grandpa and Grandma Moser for the occasion (they also got to watch Eli in a padded sword tournament). It worked out pretty well for Shad, too, since he was the only one who wasn't involved in the program and, thus, got to spend Sacrament Meeting with grandpa...out in the hall, followed by a nap in the car-that kid despises church! Both girls did AWESOME (as any proud parent would expect) with memorized parts, and Livi had the whole congregation in awe over how well she sang every single song!
Afterward, we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday! We treated him to a lunch of his choice (grilled hamburgers, fries and, of course, a cold Pepsi) followed by a yummy german chocolate cake my mom made. A funny, memorable moment came during the gifts-as Sandy pulled ours out Laurie was telling Ty to go get theirs from the car and then busted up laughing and said, "Never mind!". Turns out we got dad the same gift (a new french fryer-as his was just about kaput). We had a pretty good laugh over it :D. We sure enjoyed ourselves that weekend and are grateful for the visit.
