Olivia turned 5

Our "Little Middle" turned 5 in June-an age she's been aspiring to since age 3 (see this post-my how she's grown)! A Sunday birthday meant a pretty laid back day; Grandpa Lilya, Uncle Spencer and Alisha came Saturday and Grandpa and Grandma Moser made it Sunday afternoon, and she had some friends come by Sunday night. She loved getting sung to in Primary and getting to wear the "birthday glasses". She had a very specific cake request: german chocolate cake, purple frosting with pink letters that had to say "Happy Birthday, Olivia! We love you!" Surprising Sandy and me, she also requested hamburgers for her birthday lunch. As all birthdays go, she was spoiled in the best way.

She had been asking for a Pocahontas doll for MONTHS-thank goodness for Ebay!
